Halloween fun

I LOVE PINTEREST! There, I have said it, it is permanently in cyber space forever. 

I found this project there, reference bhg.com. 

Miss K and I started our own version of this, slightly smaller half the size as the one shown.  Here is what we have so far:

Five of these lovely devils.  Two coats of the Summer Field green paint from Wal Mart.  It was a paint I bought last year at a yard sale my grandmother had.  It cost me a whole dollar.  That's right, one smacker for all of this fun.  Wishing the pumpkins were as cheap.  Next time try to find "funkins" on clearance or something.  The five pumpkins were $16.00.  Hence, the caterpillar is half the size as bhg.com's cute lil' pillar.

I had everything else (we are using painted circles instead of foam or felt ones).  Crafts and craft items, it's kind of what we do.  Will post picture of the caterpillar when is done and in its final resting place with the cutest witch ever!!!

New direction

I started this blog as a place to talk about what i was up to, life, crafts, shopping, crazy neighbors, etc.  Well, I have decided to start it up again going in a new direction. 

I seem to always be "doing something" as people say.  I have been learning to knit.  I have tried my hand at scrapbooking (tried being the operative word), I paint craft signs for decorating, I will try any kind of craft at least once.

I hope this is the beginning of a new and long friendship.  I will do my best to upload photos of current projects.
